Super central location, walking distance to the center, subway and tram in one minute. The hotel has the charm of former times. The room simple but good value for money

The breakfast was tasty with a variety of options available, like cereals, fresh fruit, and eggs. I loved the spacious and quiet room.- The hotel has a great location, just a minute's walk from a beautiful Baroque palace.

Top location... Outstanding value for money . Mega breakfast with a lot of choice, fresh rolls, fruit salad, different sausage and cheese varieties. Scrambled eggs, wiener vegetables. . . Quaint 1913 elevator. . Might even check in early. . Friendly staff.
There's nothing.

Simple and clean room. The 100-year old lift was most impressive - it also has built-in sofa!
Reception/ front desk service ends at 10.30pm and that took me by surprise. We were informed emergency numbers would be provided for after hours. We didn't have much choice having arrived late in the evening. When the electricity in the room including bathroom suddenly went out at 11pm, I went down to the reception desk and found out to my dismay that I had only a choice between calling the doctor or the police! There was absolutely no staff around. I was truly upset! I also had to make sure I woke up at 6.30am (when the reception reopens) to make sure someone attended to the problem. It would have been nice if someone offered compensation like complimentary breakfast or something for the inconvenience caused. No one seemed to dare speak of the incident.... I had to ask for access to the switchboard in case the electricity tripped again the following night.... I really didn't want to kick up a fuss. If I have a choice, I would stay elsewhere.

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs (gluten-free crispbread). The hotel is simple, stylish and has an exciting history. Good breakfast, great location!
The room was always very hot, even with the heating turned off.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, on the No. 2 tramline and U-Bahn, a short walk from the City Centre and with good restaurants in the adjacent Josefstädterstraße - including the Cafe Eiles and Fromme Helene. Good breakfasts. Clean and comfortable.

The place was pleasant and exceptionally comfortable and the staff were amiable, the location was unbeatable close to the wonderful centre of Vienna. Quick check-in, reasonably large and silent rooms with great shower and good wifi. Tasty breakfast to star a day with nice jams, good coffee and ham. Lovely design, excellent service in the entire hotel.
Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Comfortable bed and a nice size and silent room. Best thing was the continental breakfast with cheese and fruit, for instance...
